What can a Psychiatric NP do for me?
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental illness and psychological problems. A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner has completed a Masters Degree in Nursing, has completed supervised clinical hours, and has achieved certification by passing a national examination.
In addition to providing standard psychiatric care, Indy Behavioral Health is most passionate about finding the root cause of their patient’s symptoms. Symptoms may often be reduced or alleviated by addressing nutrient deficiencies or environmental factors that may be contributing to the distress a patient may be experiencing.

We will not reveal any information regarding what happens within the work that we do together unless you have signed the Authorization to Disclose Information form. In the instance that you are in danger of harming yourself or another, then we are obligated by law to notify the authorities of this.
