Allyson Lyon, MSW, LCSW
Allyson specializes in anxiety, depression, DMDD, ODD, substance use disorders, grief and loss, postpartum depression, and bipolar disorder. She has worked extensively in family services, including working with adolescents and adult children of addicted parents. She is also a friend and ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
Allyson focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and play therapy. She also offers telehealth appointments, as well as individual and family counseling. She believes that everyone deserves to love themselves, as well as find peace and happiness in their daily lives, despite past obstacles. She also believes that mental wellness is not just for the select few, but for everyone.
Allyson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from IUPUI and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Indiana.
