Heather Hare, MSN , PMHNP-BC, LMHC, PMH-C
Heather prefers to approach treatment from all aspects, including medication, therapy, and lifestyles. Passionate about physical well-being and exercise, she believes that it’s important to incorporate these when improving mental health and often advises patients on nutritional and self-care practices. She also understands and explores the evidence-based approach that medication is not always the complete answer.
Heather specializes in perinatal mental health, from preconception to one year post delivery.She enjoys working with women of child bearing years and their families. Given her background in psychotherapy, she is able to incorporate this in with medication management.
Heather graduated with her MSN from IUPUI and is board certified as a Psychiatric MentalHealth Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She also obtained her MA in Counseling and HumanDevelopment from IU-Bloomington and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has a concentration in perinatal mental health and is certified by Postpartum Support International asa Perinatal Mental Health Professional.
