About

We’re Indy Behavioral Health.

At Indy Behavioral Health, we help patients achieve measurable and lasting results in their journey towards relief from life-limiting mood disorders, ADHD, and other mental health concerns.

We work closely with each patient to create a comprehensive wellness plan—one that includes gold-standard treatments as well as state-of-the-art therapies that target key neurological processes within the brain.

Our nurse practitioners are well-versed in the biological, psychological, and even social underpinnings of mood disorders, meaning you can expect treatment that addresses every aspect of your health.

In addition to medication management, psychoeducation, and therapy for a range of psychiatric issues, we are equipped and certified to offer Spravato® and TMS therapy, both cutting-edge interventions for treatment-resistant depression.

FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with all major insurers.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes, we offer both virtual and in-person appointments. Note, however, that for some medications, such as stimulants for ADHD, we do require an in-person visit.

What can you prescribe?

As psychiatric nurse practitioners, we can prescribe a wide range of medications for managing and treating mental health disorders. This includes schedule II medications, such as stimulants for ADHD.

Do you offer psychotherapy?

Yes. Part of our education as psychiatric nurse practitioners includes comprehensive training in various psychotherapeutic techniques and approaches. We are equipped to provide psychotherapy as part of our practice, integrating it with medication management when appropriate.
If, however, we feel that you might benefit from a more specialized or intensive type of therapy that we cannot provide, we may refer you to another mental health professional who specializes in the type of therapy you need.

What can I expect from my consultation?

During your consultation, you can expect a thorough discussion about your mental health concerns and history. We will listen to understand your needs and goals for treatment. By the end of the session, we will have laid the groundwork for your journey toward wellness.
